Introduction
Welcome to the website of the international NPO "World's Green Lungs."
Our organization is the administrator of 17 700 km² of territory in the province of Maniema in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
We strive to maintain the tropical forest, and we reforest burned devastated areas.
Without your fast help the tropical forest will be burned, and billions of tons of CO2 will be released into the atmosphere; endangered species of animals and plants will irreversibly become extinct. The land will turn into a desert, and stop to provide the livelihood to local residents.
Even the Czech Republic will suffer the consequences of global climate change and biodiversity loss several times more, than if we act now.
The forests burn continuously, and they are disappearing forever.
